ARUNACHAL PRADESH LITERATURE FESTIVAL

The Festival organized by the state to introduce literary  wealth this remote state.   One of the main organizers was Ms Mamang Dai,  a famous poetess from the state.  After the inauguration by the Governor of the state there were many presentations from invitees from all over India. Local participation was also there and we were introduced to literature by the people of the state, history  and tribal life.

Outside the hall there were several festivities in the traditional ways.  Local food was a major attraction. There were books available, dramatic presentations, local experts on fortune telling and local wealth of geology and forest.

The fight from Delhi to Itanagar offered stunning of the Himalayan range, worth  to attend the Festival !
