Trekking

Several  treks to different regions of the Himalaya since 1963.

Almost all the areas of the Indian Himalaya are covered by me  during more than 58 visits to the Himalaya. Many of these treks  were exploratory and  opened some of the areas for the trekkers.

Expeditions & Mountain Climbing

Several mountaineering expeditions were organised and led by me. These include 5 international joint ventures (two with Sir Chris Bonington as joint leader) These expeditions climbed several high peaks in the unknown areas.

Harish  personally climbed several peaks(1966-2002)  as under, many of them first ascents.

Total: Peaks climbed: 33,  * First Ascents  21.
